CONSTITUTION OF BERMUDA (CONSTITUENCY BOUNDARIES) ORDER 2010

WHEREAS a Constituency Boundaries Commission was appointed on 4 June 2009 under section 53 of the Constitution of Bermuda;

AND WHEREAS the Commission, under section 54(1) of the Constitution, submitted its report (“the Report”) to the House of Assembly on 21 May 2010, making recommendations for the alteration of constituency boundaries;

AND WHEREAS, although the modifications set out in paragraph 3 of this Order (correcting minor inaccuracies in the definition of certain constituency boundaries) were approved by the Commission, the modifications were inadvertently not included in the
Report;

AND WHEREAS the House of Assembly on 26 November 2010 approved a draft of this Order, being a draft designed to give effect to the recommendations of the Report with the modifications set out in paragraph 3;

AND WHEREAS it is expedient to confirm and give legal effect to that draft;

NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the power conferred by section 54(6) of the
Constitution of Bermuda, the Governor makes the following Order:
